RANTASAUNA

Summer

Stepping outside;
a freshness of air
after the rain.
A sultry day;
on the table waiting,
fresh strawberries.
The midnight sun;
a swan couple look after
six little ones.
The city heat;
only one smiling,
an ice-cream seller.
Sunrise;
branches starting
to sway slowly.
Midnight;
somewhere near--
a circket.
The outdoor bar;
a wasp tasting
liquer.
A windless morning;
squirrels making all
the leaves sway.
August evening;
with the darkness
a frost comes.
No rain;
with every step
dust rises.
Hiking;
from every direction,
storm clouds.
The city heat;
a polar bear yawns
by the pool.
An hour of rest;
so hot under the hand,
a stony step.
Tonight
thunder doesn't rise --
the silence!
A crow's call;
from somewhere distant--
a crow calls.
Mist floats
over the summer field;
a cold night.
No rain;
in the forest stream,
no water's sound.
A crow calls--
from the distance
a crow's call.
A quick slap;
not a single fly
under the palm.
Four days
after the hangover--
a small beer.
